Or does basically everything about the interior of the new Phantom look...dare I say it...somehow cheaper than the old car?
This is opulent. The one in the video just looks drab and sad by comparison.
EDIT: As many people pointed out, the all-black-everything interior does not do the car any favors. At all. That and the lack of a rear center console are probably the big contributing factors. Here’s an ‘18 with a high-contrast interior and the individual seats. Much better.

The one in your bottom picture is the EWB/Limo, I think, which is definitely more opulent. Also, the colors make the difference. The car he reviewed just happened to be black on black. No contrast or fun in it.

In fairness that Phantom only had $100,000 worth of extras which let’s be blunt is poverty spec.

Agree that color makes all the difference. Also, which color scheme looks more luxurious is personal opinion. I think a light-dark two tone theme looks more posh, while someone else may thing strait black is the height of opulence.

Professionally staged and created interior photo makes the car look rich. YouTube video, with minimal production effort makes the car look cheaper.
I think you know you can’t make direct comparisons of quality from that.

This comment makes a perfectly fine point, but I especially enjoy the little accusatory tone thrown in to spice things up.

Every time I watch one of these I want to stop after five minutes, but then I end watching the whole thing because I get so engrossed in these things.
WHY?!?!

Center console still looks like shit, as usual.
